DERMAL FILLERS

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are a soft gel-like substance comprised of Hyaluronic acid that is used to add or replace volume, create definition, treat fine lines and wrinkles and correct asymmetry.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar in our bodies. Most of it is found in our skin. It attracts and holds on to moisture to maintain hydration (volume, delivery of oxygen to tissues). As  we age, the amount of hyaluronic acid decreases resulting in volume loss and subsequent development of fine lines and wrinkles.

The injection of dermal fillers helps to correct these signs of ageing, giving a more youthful appearance and enhancing your natural beauty.

Where can they be used?

Almost anywhere.

How long do they last?

Depends on: the area treated, the type of filler used, medical conditions, medications, hydration status (i.e. - drink your water!), metabolism, and your individual aging process

Most fillers last 9-12 months on average. However filler in the jawline, cheeks, and chin last longest at 18-24 months.

Does it hurt?

Overall - not much. Clients usually rate it between 1-5/10. Lips treatments are the most sensitive but with topical or injection anesthetic, your procedure will be very comfortable.

Side effects/risks?

Side effects - swelling, mild erythema, mild discomfort/tenderness, decreased sweating, decreased oil production.

Risks - Anaphylaxis, asymmetry, lumps and bumps, infection(s), vascular occlusion, hyperpigmentation.

Lips

$500 / SYRINGE + HST

Lip augmentation can provide: hydration, natural volume augmentation, or enhanced volume based on your natural anatomy, size, and desired aesthetic result.

Cheeks

$500 / SYRINGE +HST

Dermal filler in the cheeks replaces volume loss due to aging. This provides a rejuvenation to counteract aging appearance, a 'happy' glow with higher and/or more 'cheeky' cheekbones. Cheek filler is also used to provide contour for a sculpted defined appearance.

  • Estimate 1-2 syringes required. Greater amount if there is a desire to achieve high-profile contour.

Chin

$500 / SYRINGE + HST

Injection of dermal filler to the chin enhances the facial contour by elongating the jawline, creating an aesthetic ideal "V-shape", and can correct cleft chin.

  • Estimate half - 1 syringe required.

Tear Troughs

$550 / SYRINGE +HST

Replacement of under eye volume loss, hollowness and tear trough deformity.

  • Estimate 1 syringe required. Hollowness determines volume required.

Nasolabial Folds

$500 / SYRINGE + HST

Dermal filler in the nasolabial folds is one of the most common filler procedures as its one of the first areas we see aging, the lines from our nose corners downward.

  • Estimate 1-2 syringes required.

Jawline

$500/SYRINGE + HST

Create projection, definition, and facial balancing by adding dermal filler to the Jawline.

  • Estimate 1-3+ syringes required.

Marionette/Vertical Lip Lines

$500 / SYRINGE + HST

Lines above and at the corners of the lips occur with age, genetics, and smoking. This appearance ages us greatly and these lines can be treated with dermal filler for a smooth and lifted appearance.

  • Estimate 1 syringe / area

We do not provide: Forehead filler or non-surgical rhinoplasty.

I take your aesthetic desires seriously and their associated possible complications. These areas are high-risk for complication(s)
